This disclosure explains the relationship between Mujo Co. (“Mujo”, “we”, “us”) and the creators, customers, and partners who promote our products through our ambassador and affiliate program. We publish it because the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) requires that any “material connection” between a brand and the people who endorse it be disclosed clearly, and because we’d want to know too. It should be read alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Notice.
1. The short version
When someone shares a Mujo link or discount code and you buy through it, that person may earn a commission from us. That’s a paid relationship, and we want it on the record. It never changes the price you pay, and we never pay anyone to lie about how Mujo works.
2. What an affiliate link or code is
An affiliate link or a personalized discount code is a unique link or code we give to an approved ambassador. When you use it, our systems credit that ambassador for the referral so we can pay them a commission. You’ll usually see these shared by creators, athletes, studios, or existing customers on social media, in videos, in newsletters, or in person.
3. What our ambassadors earn
Approved Mujo ambassadors earn a flat 15% commission on the value of qualifying orders placed through their affiliate link or code. A referral is credited to an ambassador based on the link or code used at checkout, subject to the attribution rules of our affiliate platform. Commissions are paid to ambassadors only — they’re funded entirely by Mujo and have no effect on your price. The full payout terms ambassadors agree to are set out in the separate ambassador agreement.
4. What we require of them
We require every Mujo ambassador to disclose their connection to us clearly and up front, in line with FTC guidance (16 CFR Part 255). In practice that means:
- using a clear label such as “#ad”, “paid partner”, or “Mujo ambassador” where they promote us — not buried in a wall of hashtags;
- making the disclosure easy to notice on the same screen as the recommendation, before you click or buy;
- and never implying they’re an independent, unpaid reviewer when they earn a commission.
If you ever see a Mujo recommendation that doesn’t make this relationship clear, please tell us at hello@mujoworld.com so we can address it.
5. Honesty and independence
Earning a commission does not buy a particular opinion. We ask ambassadors to share their genuine, honest experience with Mujo, including what they’d change. We don’t script their reviews, we don’t require five-star praise, and we don’t condition payment on saying nice things. Any health or wellness statements an ambassador makes are their own; the only claims we stand behind are the ones on our own product pages, which carry the FDA disclaimer below.
6. Third-party platforms
Where Mujo or its ambassadors link to products through third-party retail platforms (for example, an online marketplace), those links may also be affiliate links that earn a commission, governed by that platform’s own terms in addition to this disclosure.
7. It costs you nothing extra
Using an ambassador’s link or code never increases your price. If anything, codes usually save you money. The commission is paid by us, out of our margin, as a thank-you to the people who help others find Mujo.
8. Questions and contact
