These Subscription Terms explain how recurring (“subscribe & save”) orders work at Mujo. They are part of, and should be read together with, our Terms of Service and our Returns Policy. The Services are operated by Mujo Co. (“Mujo”, “we”, “us”). “You” means the person who places or holds a subscription. By starting a Mujo subscription, you agree to these Subscription Terms. If anything here conflicts with the Terms of Service on a subscription-specific point, these Subscription Terms control for that point.
1. What a Mujo subscription is
A Mujo subscription is a standing order for an eligible product (for example, the Mujo Ritual). Instead of buying once, you tell us to send it to you on a repeating schedule and to charge your saved payment method automatically each time, at a discount, until you change or cancel it. A subscription is optional — every product is also available as a one-time purchase at the standard price.
2. Pricing and your discount
Subscribing saves you 15% off the standard one-time price on every order for as long as the subscription is active. The exact price, any active promotion, applicable taxes, and shipping are shown on the product page and confirmed at checkout before you commit — the price shown at checkout is the price that governs. Free shipping applies to orders over $100, the same as one-time orders.
3. Billing cycle and renewal
Depending on the plan you choose at checkout, your subscription renews every 4 weeks (28 days) or every 8 weeks (56 days). Because each cycle is measured in weeks rather than calendar months, a 4-week plan renews roughly thirteen times per year and an 8-week plan roughly six to seven times per year. At the start of each cycle we automatically charge the payment method on file for that cycle’s product, taxes, and any shipping, and then ship your order. By subscribing, you authorize these recurring charges to continue automatically until the subscription is cancelled. You can change how often deliveries arrive by skipping or pausing upcoming orders (see Section 5).
4. Minimum commitment
When you start a subscription, you agree to a minimum commitment of two (2) consecutive billing cycles, and this applies to both the 4-week and the 8-week plan. In plain terms: you’re committing to receive and pay for at least your first two orders — that’s the first 8 weeks on the 4-week plan, or the first 16 weeks on the 8-week plan. During this minimum commitment period you can skip, pause, change products, or update your details, but you cannot fully cancel the subscription before the second cycle has been billed, and you remain responsible for the charges for both of those first two cycles. After the second cycle has been billed, your subscription simply continues on your chosen cadence until you choose to cancel. Your statutory rights, and the first-order satisfaction guarantee described in Section 9, are not affected by this commitment.
5. Managing your subscription
You’re in control of your subscription at any time from your account (your customer portal) at mujoworld.com/account. From there you can:
- skip your next delivery,
- pause your subscription and restart it when you’re ready,
- change the product, flavor, or quantity on your next order,
- update your payment method or shipping address,
- and, once the minimum commitment is met, cancel.
Changes you make before your next renewal date apply to that upcoming order. Changes made after an order has already been billed apply to the following cycle. If you ever can’t find what you need in your account, email hello@mujoworld.com and a real person will help.
6. Cancelling
After your minimum commitment is complete, you can cancel your subscription yourself at any time from your account — no phone call, no email required. To make sure you aren’t charged for the next cycle, cancel before your next renewal date. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the cycle you have already paid for: you keep whatever that final order included, and no further charges are made. We don’t hide the cancel button, and we won’t make you talk to anyone to use it.
7. Price changes
We may change subscription pricing, the subscriber discount, or what’s included from time to time. If a change affects your active subscription, we’ll give you reasonable advance notice (normally by email) before it takes effect on your next renewal. Continuing your subscription after a change takes effect means you accept the new price. If you don’t agree, you can cancel before the change applies, as described in Section 6.
8. Failed or declined payments
If a renewal charge is declined, we may retry the payment over a short period and email you to update your card. You can add or change your payment method anytime in your account. If we’re unable to collect payment for a cycle, we may pause or cancel the subscription, and any minimum commitment that remains unsatisfied still applies.
9. Refunds
Renewal charges are generally non-refundable, and there are no credits for partially used cycles, except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise. Your first order of an eligible product is covered by the satisfaction guarantee set out in our Returns Policy. Apparel and accessories are not eligible for that guarantee. If something arrives damaged or incorrect, contact us within the window described in the Returns Policy and we’ll make it right.
10. Taxes, shipping and delivery
Mujo ships within the United States. Applicable sales tax is calculated and shown at checkout for each order. Shipping is free on orders over $100; otherwise standard shipping rates and timelines apply as described in our Shipping Policy. Each renewal ships to the address on file at the time the order is processed, so keep your shipping address current in your account.
11. Changes to these Subscription Terms
We may update these Subscription Terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll change the “Last updated” date above, and for material changes we’ll use reasonable efforts to notify active subscribers. The updated terms take effect when posted, or on any later date stated in them, and your continued use of a subscription after that means you accept them.
12. The rest
These Subscription Terms are part of our Terms of Service and incorporate them by reference, including the arbitration agreement and class action waiver in Section 9 of those Terms and the governing-law provisions (State of Illinois; venue in Cook County, Illinois, where arbitration does not apply). Our handling of your information is described in our Privacy Notice.
